The race for the White House has been set to full throttle following Kamala Harris’ pick for the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee.

The pick? 60-year-old Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

Walz assumed office on January 7th, 2019. Prior to his governorship, he was a Congressman representing Minnesota’s 1st district. His final 2 years in Congress saw him sit as a ranking member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee.

Preceding his political career, he served in the Army National Guard. According to numerous reports, he fled from the National Guard before being deployed to war in Iraq. He was accused by many veterans of lying that he had actually fought in the war.

Many reports cite that when Walz privately learned that troops would begin deployment to Iraq, he suddenly quit to run for Congress.

The Harris Campaign attempted to do some damage control by claiming that Walz may have ‘misspoke’ regarding his time in the armed services.

Does ‘misspoke’ mean constantly lying about it for over 20 years, especially to talk about banning guns?

Him lying about his military service for over 20 years means that he would fit in very well in Washington!

Anyway, On top of his time in the National Guard, Walz was also a high school teacher and sports coach.

Politically, Walz is radically far-left on many of his positions.

The truth is that he is a radical Democrat.

As an aside, he has been one of the main proponents of the “Republicans are weird” label. This is quite humorous considering that this is coming from the man who signed a law requiring Minnesota public schools to provide free tampons in boys bathrooms.

Nevertheless, Governor Walz was on a shortlist along with Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who seemed like the most likely pick following a tweet from the Philadelphia mayor. It also seemed likely that it would be Shapiro considering that the first campaign rally featuring the Vice Presidential nominee would be in Pennsylvania.

However, Shapiro has one downside for the Democratic party. He’s Jewish, and the Democrats don’t want that.

Need proof? Here is CNN’s Political Analyst Van Jones on the matter:

Van Jones questions if anti-Semitism in the Democratic party ended Josh Shapiro’s VP bid

“You also have anti-Semitism that has gotten marbled into this party. You can be for the Palestinians without being an anti-Jewish bigot, but there are some anti-Jewish bigots out there,” he said.

“And there’s some disquiet now – and there has to be – how much of what just happened is caving into some of these darker parts of the party?”

Everybody needs to stop pretending that the Democratic party hasn’t become the party of rapid-growing antisemitism–because it has.

It is now the party of Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and other pro-Hamas anti-semites.

What makes this more telling is that Walz and Shapiro even share similar policies regarding Israel!

CNN’s Dana Bash reports:

“The attacks on Josh Shapiro for his stance on Israel and protests — he has the same stance as the non-Jewish contenders and they’re picking at him, and we should not let that go unsaid.”

This, unfortunately, is the true reality. We live in a time period where selecting a Jewish Vice Presidential candidate would anger voters in the Democratic party, such as the pro-Hamas coalition. People need to wake up. This isn’t 1940’s Germany. This is 2024’s America.

Anyhow, to me, this pick makes absolutely no sense. It is not a politically smart move from the Harris campaign.

Walz will give Kamala Harris 0 new voters since he is currently a politician in Minnesota. Minnesota is a state that has not voted Republican in a general election since 1972. In fact, when Ronald Reagan ran for reelection in 1984, he won 49 states out of 50–with the outlier being Minnesota.

It would have made much more sense to pick Governor Shapiro considering he is a politician in Pennsylvania, which is a swing state that can go either Republican or Democrat. Shapiro also is popular in the state with an approval rating of 54%.

The pick also undercuts a lot of the Harris’ campaigns messaging. Kamala Harris has attempted to moderate and distance herself from her radical positions of 4 years ago (which hasn’t been working very well), and picking Tim Walz, a radical, completely undercuts that campaigning tactic.

Clearly, Walz is a pick that appeases the radical socialist base of the Democratic party–such as the ‘Bernie Bros.’ Good luck trying to defend socialism in front of Floridian-Cuban voters.

In addition, Walz was a part of the political cover-up surrounding President Biden’s declining health and mental capacity, saying on record that the President is “Fit for office.”

To me, once again, it seems like these are just constant lies that are coming from another Washington D.C. politician.

Regardless, as the political overton window shifts, the candidates get way more radical. A Harris-Walz ticket is an absolute gift for Republicans. Republican advertisers now will have the easiest job in the world.

It’s simple. Make commercials that simply display Harris’ and Walz’s record. Nothing more, nothing less. These candidates are unpopular and their records are no better.

As mentioned earlier, we are now entering the key and crucial moments of the 2024 Election. How long will the excitement last?

Every move matters.
